Refugee Action has over 28 years' experience in the reception, resettlement, development and integration of asylum seekers and refugees.  Its teams in the UK provide a reception service for newly arrived asylum seekers, as well as advice and advocacy.  It also provides confidential, impartial and non-directive advice and information to help people to decide whether or not to return voluntarily to their country through the UK government's Assisted Voluntary Return scheme.  If an individual decides to return, Refugee Action helps them with logistical and practical planning, financial support for flights, and, in some cases, information and advice on reintegration services available when they arrive home.
