The All Party Parliamentary Group on Afghanistan hosts a panel discussion on aid effectiveness.

BAAG’s forthcoming report “Losing the Ability to Dream: Afghan Perceptions of UK aid” will be presented by the author, Dr Edwina Thompson.

Panellists will include Moazzam Malik, West Asia Director at DFiD and NGO representatives, Shaheen Chughtai (Oxfam) and Valerie Ceccherini (Mercy Corps).

With the publication of the Independent Commission on Aid Impact’s report also due later in March, this will be an opportunity to discuss aid to Afghanistan.
