Book Launch: Farewell Kabul, Christina Lamb

Christina Lamb will be speaking about her new book and her personal experiences in the field, including in Afghanistan.  Christina has spent the last thirty years covering stories from some of the world's most troubled places, including Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq. She is currently a correspondent for The Sunday Times. She is a five-time winner of the prestigious Foreign Correspondent of the Year Award and has received the Bayeux-Calvados Award for War Correspondent of the Year in 2009. She was awarded an OBE by the Queen in 2013 for services to journalism.She has written several bestselling books, including the co-authored autobiography of Malala Yousufzai, I am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up For Education and Was Shot by the Taliban.
