What does Afghanistan Mean to You?

BAAG member agency Afghan Connection has brought together a number of prestigious figures to talk about what Afghanistan means to them.  The speakers are well qualified to offer unique perspectives on Afghanistan which go beyond the image  which is usually depicted in the media.

The event will be introduced by "War Horse" author Michael Morpurgo.  Speakers will include Rory Stewart, academic, author and Conservative politician; Christina Lamb,  author and Foreign Affairs Correspondent for the Sunday Times; Major Richard Streatfeild, former Commanding Officer of A Company, 4 Rifles, Phillip Hodson, President of the M.C.C. 2011-12; Lieutenant Colonel Richard Williams (Retd),Commander, 22 SAS Regiment, 2005-2008; Sir Richard Stagg, current British Ambassador to Afghanistan.

The speakers will also take part in a Q&A session

Time: Doors open from 6.00pm, event commences in the Ondaatje Theatre at 7.00pm.
