SAFE

Supporting Afghans in Further Education (SAFE) started work in Afghanistan in 1990 in response to the devastating effect of war on Afghan education. It relieves poverty and distress wherever it can, and promotes and advances the education of Afghans. To help the country’s economy to recover, the organisation helps Afghans to implement and establish sustainable development projects. Its main focus is on people in rural villages whose voices are seldom heard and who have had little opportunity to seek better lives elsewhere. SAFE also supports emergency appeals and raises awareness about Afghanistan in the UK.
