Some of our members - Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International UK, Child Soldiers International and Global Witness - operate on a nation-wide basis rather than in specific provinces.

Enhancing food security and livelihood protection of vulnerable families 

The project proposes to carry out the following activities:

Food for work (FfW)

  • Conditional food packs distribution

Food for Training

  • Women-headed household beneficiaries will be expected to receive training covering basic health and public hygiene, nutrition awareness (preparing nutritious food for children).

Hygiene and sanitation

  • Through the project, Afghanaid will further distribute hygiene kits to all the affected families to reduce the risk of the spread of waterborne diseases among the population.

Livelihood opportunities

  • Contributing to restoring the livelihoods of the villages in our target group.
