Where we work

BAAG's Member organisations work across a large number of Afghanistan's provinces.  Click on the provinces of the map below to see which organisations are present there and details of their programmes.

Some of our members - Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International UK, Child Soldiers International and Global Witness - operate on a nation-wide basis rather than in specific provinces.

  • Justice for Juveniles in Ghazni

The project aims to support children in who are conflict with the law to access justice, as well as to strengthen the ability of the justice system to protect and rehabilitate juveniles.

The project provides Social Workers to investigate and manage individual cases as well as train Government staff on meeting basic child protection standards.

The project employs a Juvenile Defence Lawyer to represent children and supports their reintegration into education and training after their case has been heard.
