Some of our members - Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International UK, Child Soldiers International and Global Witness - operate on a nation-wide basis rather than in specific provinces.

Support Disaster Risk Reduction and Secure Livelihoods

This project has been designed to focus on secure livelihoods and DRR (disaster risk reduction) for both men and women. The project activities include:

  • provision of safe drinking water,
  • vocational training income generation,
  • supporting the production of valuable crops like saffron.

This project also focuses on marketing skills, carpet waving, animal husbandry, establishment of CBDR committee (community-based dispute resolution) under DRR/REFLECT system and awareness raising for both men and women.

Beneficiaries: 520 individual/ 585 households = total 1,440 people
