Some of our members - Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International UK, Child Soldiers International and Global Witness - operate on a nation-wide basis rather than in specific provinces.

Christian Aid in Herat

Providing Emergency Assistance and DRR support to rural communities

Food Packages distributed among 500 vulnerable and most affected people, identified in coordination with communities, Community Development Centres (CDCs), Shura members and Local authorities.

The food package for each person includes: 25kg of Rice, 50kg of Flour, 5Litres of cooking Oil, 3kg of Sugar and 1kg  of black tea.

In addition, 750 bags containing 50kg of barley contains have also been distributed to 759 livestock keepers in target villages.

Finally, provision of clean water for 120 drought affected families in Sang Kotal.
